A roll is only as good as the weakest step behind it, so we own every step. Superior Forge & Steel is a fully integrated alloy-steel manufacturer: we select the scrap, melt and degas the steel, pour the ingot, forge it, heat treat it, machine it and inspect it ourselves, across plants in Lima, Ohio and Pittsburgh and New Castle, Pennsylvania.
Controlling the whole chain is how we hold quality from the melt to the finished roll — and how our team, with over 250 years of combined experience, catches problems upstream instead of shipping them. It does not end at delivery: our after-sale technical service puts our people in your plant to check roll performance and help solve rolling problems.
